Google play store testing

Steps to Setup Beta Testing:
Prepare Your App: Ensure your app’s APK or AAB file is ready and tested locally.
Sign in to the Play Console: Go to Google Play Console.

Create an App Release:
Navigate to "Testing" > "Closed Testing" or "Open Testing".
Create a new testing track (either closed or open) depending on your needs:
Closed Testing: You can invite specific users to test.
Open Testing: Any Play Store users can join the test.
Upload Your APK/AAB: Upload your APK/AAB file to the testing track.

Set Up Testers:
If you're using closed testing, create a Google Group or Google+ Community and add testers.
For open testing, users can opt-in from the Play Store link.
Distribute the Test Version: Invite testers or share a public link. Testers can download the app from Google Play as if it were a normal release.

5. Crash Reporting and Analytics
Tools:
Firebase Crashlytics: Provides real-time crash reporting for your app.
Firebase Analytics: Tracks user behavior and logs key metrics.
Ensure that crash reports are properly set up to capture issues as they happen on test devices.

6. Performance Testing
What it is: Measure the performance of your app, including memory usage, CPU utilization, and battery drain.
Tools:
Android Profiler: Integrated into Android Studio, it helps to track memory usage, CPU activity, and more.
Firebase Test Lab: Run your app on a wide range of real devices hosted by Google.

7. Pre-launch Report (Google Play)
Once you've uploaded your APK/AAB to the Play Console, you can access the Pre-launch Report:

This is an automatic test that runs your app on various devices and Android versions.
It checks for issues like crashes, UI compatibility, and more.
You can access it in the "Testing" section of the Play Console.]

8. Manual Testing on Real Devices
Test the app on various devices with different screen sizes, Android versions, and hardware configurations.
Check network behavior on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Validate that the app behaves correctly when switching between apps, receiving calls, and in low memory conditions.\

9. Compliance Testing (Google Play Guidelines)
Ensure your app complies with Google’s Developer Program Policies.
Focus on the following:
Privacy Policy: You must include a privacy policy if your app handles sensitive data.
Permissions: Ask only for the necessary permissions.
App Content: Make sure the app’s content is appropriate for your target audience.

10. Deploying to Production
Once your app is fully tested and you're ready for release:

Go to the Production Track in the Play Console.
Upload your APK/AAB and complete the necessary release details.
Submit your app for review. Google will then review your app, and upon approval, it will be published on the Play Store.
