3. Click on "Forgot Password?"
On the password entry page, click Forgot password? located under the password field.
4. Verify Your Identity
Google will guide you through several identity verification steps. Depending on the recovery options you've set up, you may be asked to verify in one or more of the following ways:
Enter Your Last Known Password: If you remember a previous password, enter it. If not, click Try another way.
Verification via Phone: If you've linked a phone number to your Gmail account, Google will send a verification code via text message or a phone call. Enter the code when prompted.
Verification via Recovery Email: If you've set a recovery email, Google will send a verification code to that email. Check your recovery email inbox, retrieve the code, and enter it.
Answer Security Questions: In some cases, Google may ask you questions like "When did you create this account?" to help confirm your identity.
5. Create a New Password
Once Google verifies your identity, you’ll be prompted to create a new password. Make sure to choose a strong, unique password.
6. Sign in with Your New Password
After successfully resetting your password, sign in to your Gmail account using the new password.
Tips for Password Recovery:
Ensure you have access to the phone number or recovery email associated with your Gmail account to make the process smoother.
